Meet Our Doctors

Grant Encalade, D.D.S.

Dr. Grant attended Lamar University as a Mirabeau Scholar, earning a
B.S. in Chemistry. He continued his education at The University of Texas School
of Dentistry at Houston, where he earned his D.D.S in 2017. Following dental
school, Dr. Grant relocated to Austin, Texas, where he has worked as the head
Associate Dentist for a cosmetic dental practice, 2222 Dental. He has moved to
Abilene, Texas to join his wife, Dr. Victoria Tindol, in her family dental practice.
Throughout dental school, Dr. Grant received numerous awards:
The Triolo Leadership Award
Designated Clinical Group Practice Leader
The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Achievement Award
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Student Award
Dr. Grant is originally from Bridge City, a small Southeast Texas town. The
“small town, family first” mindset is the pillar to how he treats his patients. When
he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Grant enjoys participating in all things outdoors,
various fitness activities and playing golf. Dr. Grant is the proud co-owner of
Abilene Family & Cosmetic Dentistry alongside his wife, Dr. Victoria Tindol.

Victoria Tindol Encalade, D.D.S.

Dr. Victoria became fascinated with dentistry at a very young age, as she
had the unique opportunity of observing her grandfather and mother at work in
their own dental practices in Abilene, TX. Dr. Victoria Tindol headed to school
with dentistry in mind, and graduated summa cum laude from Abilene Christian
University in 2014 with a B. S. in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. She furthered
her education at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where
she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2018.
During her time at The University of Texas School of Dentistry, Dr. Victoria
was awarded for her work in cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry and
leadership. Several of her accolades are included in the following:
The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Achievement Award
The Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry Student Award
Designated Clinical Group Practice Leader
American Association of Women Dentists Eleanor J. Bushee Award
Among Dr. Victoria’s many interests are traveling, fitness and spending
time with her family, friends and English bulldog. Dr. Victoria feels she is truly
living out her lifelong dream by returning to her hometown to work with families in

the Big Country! She is thrilled to follow in her mother’s footsteps as the co-
owner of Abilene Family & Cosmetic Dentistry,

alongside her husband Dr. Grant Encalade.

Jane Estes Tindol, D.D.S.

     Dr. Jane has been the owner and head dentist at her family practice, Jane
Estes Tindol D.D.S., for 34 years. Dr. Jane loves that she can share her passion
for dentistry with her family and continues to enjoy seeing her patients

at Abilene Family & Cosmetic Dentistry alongside her daughter and son-in-law.
     Dr. Jane received her B. S. in Biology from Abilene Christian University in
1982. She continued her education at The University of Texas Dental Branch

in Houston, where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1985.

She then moved back to her hometown of Abilene to start her own

dental practice. In 2006, she continued her education in medicine and

received her M.D. at The University of Health Sciences Antigua,

School of Medicine.

     Dr. Jane has a strong passion for serving others through dentistry, and
she has been involved in the Abilene community and dental mission work around the world.  Dr. Jane has been the dentist of

choice in the Abilene area since 1985, and she loves to see the familiar faces of her faithful, lifelong patients!
